Yes, you absolutely can study abroad if you&rsquo;re deaf ,  many universities actively support deaf and hard-of-hearing students, both academically and socially.
Most universities in countries like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia have disability support offices that provide accommodations like note-taking help, sign language interpreters, captioned lectures, assistive listening devices, or extra exam time. You&rsquo;ll need to register with the school&rsquo;s disability office early in the process, often after getting admitted.
When applying, it&rsquo;s not mandatory to disclose your hearing status unless you want specific support &mdash; but doing so can help the university prepare accommodations in advance.
