Getting into Wharton with a low GMAT is tough but not impossible. Their latest average is 732, and with the GMAT Focus Edition now in place, they look more at percentile rankings than raw scores. If you're in the low 600s or below the 80th percentile, you’ll need an outstanding profile to make up for it.
Think: significant work experience (5+ years), clear upward growth, strong leadership stories, and really sharp essays. Also, Wharton accepts the GRE, and some applicants have had better luck applying with that if GMAT wasn’t their strength. There’s no shortcut — just make sure your story, impact, and future goals are crystal clear.
