Yes, it’s possible to get into HEC Paris MiM with a low GMAT score — but you’ll need to show strength in other parts of your profile to balance it out.
HEC doesn’t have a strict cutoff, but most admitted students score above GMAT 690. If your score is below that, they’ll look more closely at your undergrad GPA, internships, leadership roles, and international exposure. Strong academics in quant-heavy subjects like finance or economics can also help offset a lower score.
That said, a “low” GMAT alone won’t break your chances if the rest of your application tells a clear story. Make sure your essays are sharp, your goals make sense, and your recommendations back up your potential. If possible, add extras like CFA Level 1 or strong academic projects to show you can handle the course load.
