Getting into HEC Paris MiM with a low GMAT is difficult but not impossible. Most admits score around 645 to 675 on the GMAT, and anything below 620 is seen as less competitive.

If your GMAT is on the lower side, you’ll need to show outstanding academics (like a GPA of 3.7+), solid internships at firms like L’Oréal, PwC, or BNP Paribas, and strong international exposure—such as exchange semesters or volunteering abroad. HEC Paris values leadership as well, so achievements like leading a student association with 50+ members can strengthen your case. Still, a GMAT below 600 usually makes it very hard unless other parts of the profile are truly exceptional.
