Yes, HEC Paris does accept applicants with a GMAT score below the average range of 645–655 (Focus Edition), as long as other parts of the application are strong. To balance out a low GMAT, you can submit a GRE score instead. If you're fluent in French, there's also the option of taking the TAGE MAGE, which is accepted by HEC and is conducted only in French.
Other ways to strengthen your profile include showing a strong academic track record, internships with reputable firms, or international experience. Your essays and interview also carry weight, so focus on clearly explaining your goals and what value you’d bring to the program.
