While the average GMAT score for admitted students is around 690, there isn't a strict minimum requirement. The admissions team looks at your entire profile, including work experience, academic background, and personal achievements.

If other parts of your application are strong, a lower GMAT score might not be a deal-breaker. However, a higher score can strengthen your application, especially if other areas are less competitive.

If your GMAT score is low, you can still apply to the Cambridge MBA. The school does not have a fixed cut-off score, which means they look at your whole profile—not just your test scores. So, a strong background in work, academics, or leadership can help make up for a lower GMAT.

Cambridge is looking for students who bring value to the class. If you’ve done great work in your career, started something on your own, or have a clear and honest goal for your future, you still have a good chance.

The key is to make sure the rest of your application is strong. Your essays, references, and interview should clearly show your story and why you want to do an MBA now. A good story with a clear purpose can make a big difference.

So yes, you can get into Cambridge with a low GMAT—but only if the rest of your application is honest, well-balanced, and shows real potential.

The mean GMAT score for admitted students typically falls between 690-700. While there's no strict minimum, a lower GMAT score can be offset by other strong aspects of your application, such as an impressive academic record, substantial work experience, or exceptional leadership qualities. In some cases, candidates with a lower undergraduate degree classification may need a higher GMAT or GRE score to demonstrate their academic readiness.

Keep in mind, the admissions committee evaluates applications holistically. A lower GMAT score doesn't automatically disqualify you, but it's essential to strengthen other areas of your application to present a compelling case for admission.

The average GMAT score for admitted students is usually around 690-700, but not everyone has to meet that. If your score is lower, it doesn't mean you’re out. It just means other parts of your profile need to shine.

They look at your full application—your work experience, academic record, goals, and how well you fit into the program. If you’ve done well in your job, taken leadership roles, or have a strong degree background, that helps a lot. You can also explain your score in the optional essay, especially if there’s a valid reason.

So yes, it is possible to get into Cambridge with a low GMAT score, but you need to give them strong reasons to believe you’ll do well in the program. Just make sure the rest of your application is clear, honest, and shows your strengths.
