Can I do MFin in Europe right after my BCom or BBA from India?

I just finished my BCom and want to apply for Master’s in Finance in Europe. Most schools say they prefer some work experience, but is it possible to get in directly after graduation? Has anyone here done that? What kind of profile do I need to have?

A lot of BCom and BBA grads think they need to wait a few years before applying &mdash; but every year, people get into top MFin programs in Europe straight out of undergrad.

Schools like EDHEC, IE, and RSM accept freshers if the academic record is strong (usually above 70%) and backed by 1&ndash;2 solid internships in roles like equity research, audit, or FP&A.
CFA Level 1 or finance certifications like NSE&rsquo;s Investment Analysis can really boost the profile &mdash; especially for students from non-IIT/non-SRCC backgrounds.
You don&rsquo;t need a full-time job, but projects with real exposure to Excel modeling, financial statement analysis, or valuation work help a lot.
Some programs even prefer younger candidates with a clear focus &mdash; Bocconi, for example, allows early applications and often shortlists based on academic strength plus motivation.

So yes, it&rsquo;s definitely doable,  but the profile needs to show readiness, not just intent.
