No, HEC Paris doesn’t allow you to apply for the MIM program without submitting a test score—but it doesn’t have to be the GMAT specifically. You can also apply with a GRE or TAGE MAGE score instead, both of which are equally accepted.

If you’re not confident about your GMAT score or haven’t taken it yet, the GRE is a good alternative, especially since many students find its math section a bit more manageable. The TAGE MAGE, which is only available in French, is another option if you’re fluent in the language.

So while a test is required, you have flexibility. Just make sure whichever one you choose reflects your strengths and helps support your profile.

Yes, you can apply to the HEC Paris Master in Management (MiM) program without a GMAT score. They accept other exams like  GMAT, GRE, or TAGE MAGE scores, and there is no minimum score you must have to apply.

That said, if you have a good GMAT or GRE score, it can make your application stronger.
But even without it, you can still apply. HEC Paris looks at many things   like your academics, work experience, leadership skills, and personal achievements because They want students who are strong overall, not just good at tests.

If you’re not submitting a GMAT score, make sure you show your other strengths really well.
Talk about your good grades, internships, work experience, activities outside class, and your future goals. Also, writing strong essays and getting good recommendation letters can make a big difference.

In short — having a good test score helps, but it’s not a must. If you have a strong profile and tell your story well, you still have a very good chance at HEC Paris.

Yes, you can apply to the HEC Paris MiM program without a GMAT score. The school accepts GMAT, GRE, or TAGE MAGE, and there’s no minimum score you must meet to apply, so you have the flexibility to choose. While a good test score can strengthen your application, it’s not something you must submit if you can show your strengths in other parts of your profile.

HEC Paris looks at your full application because they want students who bring more than just good scores. They will consider your academic performance, work experience, leadership skills, and career goals  So even if you don’t have a GMAT score, strong essays, good internships, solid recommendations, and clear future plans can make you a very competitive candidate.

In short, a strong profile can easily balance the absence of a test score. If you focus on showing your achievements, your leadership potential, and your motivation, you still have a very good chance of getting into HEC Paris without GMAT.

You can’t apply to HEC Paris MIM without any test, but it doesn’t have to be the GMAT. They also accept GRE or TAGE MAGE scores. So, if GMAT isn’t your best option, go for the GRE instead. If you're fluent in French, TAGE MAGE is also valid. What matters is choosing the test that highlights your strengths since it’s a key part of the selection process.

No,you cannot apply to HEC Paris without a GMAT score if you have not taken any other test. You must submit one of the following: GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, or the French Tage Mage exam because a test score is required for all applicants and this is clearly mentioned on their official admissions page.

There is no minimum GMAT score mentioned, but HEC suggests that a GMAT Focus score between 645–655 is considered close to the competitive average. This is similar to a 700+ score on the older GMAT scale.

If your GMAT score is lower than that range, your application will still be reviewed. But it’s important to show strong academics, relevant internships, and a well-written motivation letter to support your case. HEC evaluates applicants holistically, so one weak area can be balanced by strengths in other parts.

So no, you can’t skip the test  but you can still have a chance at admission with a slightly low score if the rest of your profile is solid.
