Hello Akash, how are you doing?

Firstly, I would like to point out that they don't have M.Tech courses in Germany, they offer MS instead. And about your choice of Germany, it's indeed a really good one. I’m saying this because many institutes that are known for their CS masters are actually the best German universities.

I know about RWTH and TUM as much to suggest them to you. But yes, few other universities have come across to offer the best options. Recently I’ve been checking graduation rates, employability and other things for German universities. And it seems LMU Munich, Karlsruhe are the best options after those I mentioned. Here, I’ll resent it more simply -

1. RWTH Aachen University
2. Technical University of Munich (TMU)
3. LMU  Munich
4. Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

As for my suggestion, these are the very best options for a computer science MS in Germany. And yes, in exact order. The reason why I suggest RWTH is because of their extensive cooperation with the engineering sciences and the regional computer science industry. If you check the graduates or alumni they are most thankful for this. It gives you more hands-on experience for your computer science masters. TMU on the other hand is basically the CS master university in Germany.

By the way, all four of these universities are elite public universities. So you do not need to worry about the quality of education.

Lastly, the point that you need to consider while shortlisting the right school for your masters, is the eligibility criteria. You should check if you fulfill the universities' eligibility requirements well in advance.

Why don't you tell me more about your profile? Maybe then I would be able to let you know the most suitable university options for you.

Hi Akash,

I understand that it can be a bit difficult to find the right school for your masters.

Why don't you check out the FREE school explore tool curated by experts. It will generate a customised school list based on your profile and preferences and will make this process of school selection a lot easier.

Hope this helps!
