For XLRI PGDM-GM, most students have work experience between 5 to 10 years, and that fits your case well. The program needs at least 5 years of full-time work experience before March 31 of the year you apply, which you already meet.

When it comes to the GMAT score, XLRI doesn’t mention a strict cutoff on their official site. But usually, selected candidates have scores between 670 and 710. A GMAT score in this range is considered safe, but even 650+ can work well if your profile is strong.

About your GMAT study hours most working professionals prepare for around 8 to 12 hours per week, over a period of 2 to 3 months. It depends on your base level and how comfortable you are with the sections. The key is to study consistently, even with a job.

Overall, XLRI looks at more than just your score. They want to see your leadership experience, clarity of goals, and how you’ll add value to the class. So if your profile tells a clear story, your score and work ex are already in a good place.
