i worked with mimessay after getting rejected in the previous round. my profile was 7.2 gpa from DU, gmat focus 640, and 2 internships in audit and equity research. i wasnt sure if schools like nus or bocconi were realistic. they made me rework my essays a few times and also suggested a mix of schools so i didnt waste the round. some edits took longer than i expected, but the feedback was clear and useful. finally got into nus mfin with some funding. it wasnt easy, but i dont think i would  have managed that result alone.

if your profile is strong ,  like 3.7+ gpa, gmat focus above 680, and solid finance internships  , you can probably handle apps on your own with some effort. but if you are more in the average range (say 6.8&ndash;7.2 gpa, 620&ndash;650 gmat, and basic audit or accounting work ex), a consultant can be useful. they will usually push you on essays and help with school mix so you dont waste a round.

yeah, i used mimessay for my mfin apps. what stood out for me was how much time they spent on my school list, i had only dream options in mind, and they pushed me to balance it better. some parts of the process were slow, but it did keep me on track with deadlines. finally got an admit in smu which was a relief after my earlier failed try.

i havent used them myself but i have seen a few people  go to  mimessay for mfin. the  feedback i heard was that they got more support on applications compared to places like idp or yocket. if you are confident handling essays and school choices  you can manage on your own. but if you feel your profile needs polishing, then getting a consultants help could make sense.

I havent used them myself but a few friends did . the process seemed fine and the feedback helped them improve their application. seems okay if you just need some extra guidance.
