Trinity Dublin MSc in Electronic Information Engineering Program Description

This is a one-year full-time or two to a three-year part-time postgraduate course designed to provide graduate engineers with skills to design modern computational products and systems. Information processing engines permeate all aspects of contemporary life. The principles enabling the design of this new wave of products are embodied in the discipline of Information Engineering. This course allows graduates to specialise in fundamental theory and applications relating to the generation, distribution, analysis and use of information in engineering and science. This M.Sc. course can be taken as either a full-time one-year or part-time two to the three-year postgraduate course and consists of taught modules worth 60 credits and a project worth 30 credits. A specialism in Computational Engineering is available for students selecting at least 15 ECTS from the Computational Engineering strand. All students (aiming for an MSc award) are required to take the following modules:
