Eligibility Requirements for Dublin City MSc in Computing (with Major Options)

For entry into this program, candidates must hold a second-class honours degree or higher in Computer Science, Computing or Computer Applications.
International candidates who are non-native speakers of English must satisfy the University with their competency in the English language.
TOEFL Marks - 92/120
PTE Marks - 63/90
IELTS Marks - 6.5/9
First Class Bachelor’s degree from a recognised top-ranked university and affiliated colleges with a minimum of 60% average across all semesters is required
Students who have studied at a lower-tiered institution may be considered with an overall average mark of 65% or above
Students must have no more than five backlogs during their Bachelor's degree
Applicants must hold a second-class degree in Computer Science, Computing or Computer Applications.

Dublin City MSc in Computing (with Major Options) Program Description

The M.Sc. in Computing offers a choice of majors designed to equip graduates with a range of cutting-edge skills, which enable them to produce high-quality software and systems that deliver solutions to businesses and the economy.
The program is offered in four majors:

Cloud Computing
Software Engineering
Security and Forensic Computing

Students will develop a prototype software system in their Major area that targets a real-world problem.
Typically, projects commence with a feasibility study, followed by creating a project plan and developing a software application or rigorous theoretical analysis.
There will be four specialisations Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, BlockChain, and Secure Software and Systems. The Students who were earlier interested in Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, and Secure Forensics and now looking for Either BlockChain or Secure Software and Systems Specialisation.
