Systems at the University of Windsor are still down as a result of a cybersecurity incident. We are grateful to the staff and faculty who have been working hard to keep operations, research, and scholarly activities running as smoothly as they possibly can. They have also been supporting our students by coming up with solutions that lessen the impact on teaching, learning, and research.

As soon as the event was discovered, efforts were taken to secure our systems and lessen the impact on our operations and data. Our top priority is a thorough investigation, which is being carried out with the assistance of eminent outside cybersecurity specialists.
