Additionally, applicants are required to submit a fully completed Funding Worksheet and a Teaching Assistantship Application. The application materials for this program come in both forms. Normally, at least two of the three letters of recommendation, excluding any letters from potential supervisors, must be from someone who can speak to the applicant's potential for academic and research success.

Northern British Columbia Master of Computer Science Program Description

In the Faculty of Science and Engineering, one stream of the Master of Science degree is in mathematical, computer, physical, and molecular sciences (MCPMS). There are thesis and project alternatives. The thesis option prepares graduates for employment in research or for future academic study by having as a significant component the completion of an original research program that culminates in the drafting of a thesis.
