Eligibility Requirements for Deakin Master of Business Analytics

All applicants must meet the minimal standards for English proficiency.

The University strives to provide students as much credit as feasible for recognized prior learning that is above the typical entry requirements for the course and is allowed by the rules of the course. Deakin University has a minimum completion requirement of four credit points, or at least one-third of the course, whichever is higher.

Deakin Master of Business Analytics Program Description

Become a business analytics expert who can use analytics-based solutions to propel business success.

The business analytics program at Deakin was created in collaboration with market demands. These come from companies including IBM, Microsoft, SAS, Altis Consulting, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, PBT Group, and PwC that are course partners.

This course has a strong practical focus and teaches you to a variety of widely used business intelligence and analytics tools. You'll discover how current modeling and solution methods can be used to resolve business decision-making issues.

You'll get access to cutting-edge business analytics software tools like IBM Cognos, IBM SPSS Modeler and IBM Watson, SAS Enterprise Miner, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau, and big data concepts and concerns are integrated throughout the curriculum.
